Trying to cope with his job, sometimes so gratifying, other times hateful, this humble teacher with airs of critic and writer, began to defend the book-album and children's literature (one that we often forget and that gives us so much joy in childhood ) among skeptical teachers and librarians of the new millennium.
For the sake of that passion nurtured in the public libraries of his childhood, one that he intended to transfer to the mediators of reading, the need arose to create a space to collect the words, suggestions and reflections that were sprouting as he entered the forest of Children's Literature.
That is how, on February 22, 2008, Donde Liven Los Monstruos: Infantile y Juvenile Literature (DVLM LIJ) was inaugurated, a virtual place created by and for the enjoyment of readers, teachers, parents, curious people or artists who support Children's Literature and Juvenile (LIJ) in its most varied aspects.
